Nutrition Guidance

Whether you’re struggling with digestion, want to gain more energy, build strength, lose weight, switch to a plant-based diet, or simply feel unsure if your eating habits are supporting your health…

Let’s figure out what works for you.

Introductory consultation

During the introductory consultation, we take time to understand your situation, health background, lifestyle, eating habits, and personal goals. We discuss any challenges, symptoms, or concerns you may have and, where available, review your diet to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.

To get the most out of your appointment, I recommend recording everything in a food diary by writing what you eat and drink over 2 workdays and 1 weekend day before your appointment, as this provides a more accurate picture of your usual eating habits.

Based on this assessment, you will receive practical, personalised nutritional advice and recommendations tailored to your individual needs. And from here we will see if you need any further support.

Continued support

Follow-up consultations give you the opportunity to discuss your progress, ask questions, and receive continued support on your nutrition journey. Whether you have been implementing dietary changes, working towards specific health goals, or managing a health condition, these sessions help ensure you stay on track and feel confident in your approach.

During the consultation, we review how things have been going since your last appointment, discuss any challenges or successes you have experienced, and make adjustments to your nutrition plan where needed. You can also bring up any new concerns, goals, or questions that have arisen.

Follow-up consultations are recommended if you would like ongoing guidance, accountability, motivation, or support in building sustainable habits and achieving lasting results.

Nutrition Coaching Session

If you’re looking for hands-on support, this session focuses on turning nutrition advice into practical, everyday habits. Together, we can go grocery shopping, review food labels, discuss suitable product choices, and build confidence in making informed decisions when selecting foods.

The session can also include cooking together, allowing you to develop practical skills such as meal planning, food preparation, portioning, and creating balanced, nutritious meals. You will have the opportunity to ask questions in a real-life setting and receive personalised guidance tailored to your preferences, lifestyle, and goals.

In addition, you will receive a one-week meal plan to support you after the session. The aim is not to focus on dieting, but to provide structure, inspiration, and practical examples that help you apply what you have learned without having to constantly decide what to do next.

This session is ideal if you feel unsure about what to buy, how to prepare healthy meals, or how to put nutrition advice into practice. The goal is to give you the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to make healthy eating simple, enjoyable, and sustainable.

FAQ

No, you don’t need a referral. You can book a free introductory consultation directly.

Preparation is optional, but it can help make the session more effective. If possible, you can send a food diary (covering at least 2 workdays and 1 weekend day), any recent blood results, and information about allergies or medical diagnoses before your appointment. This allows me to prepare in advance and make the session as tailored as possible. If you don’t have these ready, that’s absolutely fine, we will go through everything together during the consultation.

This is a practical, hands-on session that can include grocery shopping, cooking together, and learning how to apply nutrition advice in real life. You will also receive a one-week meal plan for extra support.

If we go shopping, you will pay for your own groceries. Cooking sessions take place in your own kitchen, so the advice and skills can be applied directly to your everyday environment and routines.

This is for you if you want to move towards a more plant-based lifestyle for health, ethical, or personal reasons. The focus is on helping you transition to vegan or vegetarian eating in a balanced and sustainable way, or supporting you if you are already following a plant-based diet but are experiencing challenges.

I can help with weight management, whether your goal is to lose or gain weight, as well as improving strength, energy, and overall wellbeing through practical nutrition and lifestyle changes.

This is also for you if you are dealing with gut health or microbiome-related concerns, mental health problems, lifestyle conditions such as diabetes and other metabolic health issues, or if you are looking for support after cancer treatment to rebuild and optimise your nutrition.

The focus can also be on more general or unclear symptoms, where something just doesn’t feel quite right with your health or eating habits. The free introductory consultation is used to understand your situation and see together whether this approach is the right fit for you, and if needed you will be referred to the appropriate specialist.

You can book an appointment directly, and I will send you an invoice afterwards. Payment details and instructions will be included on the invoice.

Yes, I often include advice on movement, as it can play an important role in supporting energy, digestion, strength, mental health, and overall wellbeing. This can include general recommendations for sports, daily activity, or gentle movement depending on your situation.

If you want to go more in-depth with yoga specifically, I often recommend a dedicated 1-on-1 introductory yoga session, where we can focus properly on technique, alignment, and building a safe and sustainable practice.

Consultations can take place online or in person, depending on what works best for you.

The nutrition coaching session (including shopping and cooking support) is held in person, as it focuses on practical, hands-on guidance in a real-life setting.
