Effective Date: 07/2026
1. Introduction
Your privacy is important to me, and I am committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use my website and services. It is issued in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable to clients based in the EU/EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using my services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Information I Collect
As a registered dietitian and yoga instructor, I may collect the following personal information when you use my services:
- Personal Identification Information: Name, email address, phone number, and other contact details.

- Communication Data: Any messages or inquiries you send via email or messaging apps (such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or similar).
- Donation Information: If you make a voluntary donation via PayPal, PostFinance, or ABN AMRO, I may collect donation-related details (e.g., amount and transaction date).
3. How I Use Your Information
I use your information for the following purposes:
- To Provide Services: Dietetic consultations, personalised advice, and yoga instruction.
- To Schedule & Manage Appointments: Sending confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups.

4. Legal Basis for Processing Data (nFADP & GDPR Compliance)
Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR (EU law), I process your data based on:
- Explicit Consent (for health-related information).
- Legitimate Interest (to manage appointments and respond to inquiries).
- Contractual Necessity (to deliver services you have requested).
- Legal Obligations (where required by law).
5. How I Protect Your Data
I take your privacy seriously and implement security measures, including:
- Encryption: Data is encrypted where technically possible.
- Secure Storage: Data is stored securely in Google Docs and on encrypted devices.
- Limited Access: Only I (the owner) have access to your information.
6. Data Retention & Deletion Policy
- Personal and health-related data is stored for 5 years after your last appointment, unless we discuss a different arrangement.
- If you request deletion of your data, it will be erased unless legal or professional obligations require retention.
- Communication records may be deleted sooner upon request.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of the third-party services I use (see Section 9), including Google, messaging apps, and PayPal, are based outside Switzerland and the EU, and may process or store data internationally as part of their normal operation. Where this occurs, it relies on the safeguards those providers have in place, rather than data remaining exclusively within Switzerland or the EU.
8. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data security breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights, I will notify the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and, where required, affected individuals, without undue delay, in accordance with the nFADP.
9. Sharing Your Information
I do not share your data with third parties, except:
- With Your Consent: If you request a referral or wish to share your records with another professional.
- With Service Providers: I use Google Docs, messaging apps (such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or Discord, depending on your preference), PayPal, PostFinance, ABN AMRO, Google Analytics, and YouTube, which may process some of your data under their own privacy policies (see below).

14. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
- The services provided (dietary advice, yoga instruction, and consultations) are intended for informational and educational purposes only and do not replace medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment.
- Clients should consult a medical professional before beginning any new diet or exercise programme, particularly where a pre-existing condition, injury, or medication is involved.
- Yoga practice carries an inherent risk of injury, which clients assume by participating.
